How to get there

Getting to Łódź

The conference venue and accommodation for participants is located at Hotel Ambasador Premium, ul. Kilińskiego 145, 90-315 Łódź.

The hotel is situated in the city centre, approximately 1 km from Łódź Fabryczna Railway Station and within walking distance of Piotrkowska Street.

✈️ From Łódź Airport (LCJ)

Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport is located approximately 6–7 km from the city centre.

By taxi

The easiest and most convenient option is to take a taxi directly from the airport terminal.

• Travel time: approximately 15-20 minutes
• Taxi rank: directly outside the terminal
• Taxis are available upon arrival.

By public transport

Buses 65A and 65B operate directly from the airport terminal. The airport bus stop is located directly in front of the passenger terminal.

A convenient option is to take bus 65A or 65B towards the city and continue towards the city centre/Łódź Fabryczna area. Journey planning and current timetables can be checked shortly before travelling, as public transport routes and timetables may change.

The airport is also directly connected with Łódź Kaliska Railway Station by bus 65B.

✈️ From Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW)

Warsaw Chopin Airport is approximately 130 km from Łódź.

By train – recommended

The airport has its own railway station located directly at the terminal.

1. From Warsaw Chopin Airport, take a local train towards Warszawa Zachodnia.
2. At Warszawa Zachodnia, change to an intercity train towards Łódź Fabryczna.
3. From Łódź Fabryczna, Hotel Ambasador Premium is approximately 1 km away and can be reached on foot, by taxi or by public transport.

This is one of the most convenient options for international participants arriving at Warsaw Chopin Airport.

By coach (Flixbus)

Direct or connecting coach services between Warsaw and Łódź are also available. Timetables and availability should be checked before travelling.

✈️ From Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI)

Warsaw Modlin Airport is located approximately 40 km north of Warsaw.

By train

There is no railway station directly at the airport. The airport is connected with Modlin Railway Station by a dedicated airport shuttle bus operated by Koleje Mazowieckie. Shuttle buses run regularly and the timetable is coordinated with train arrivals and departures.

A convenient route is:
Warsaw Modlin Airport → Modlin Railway Station → Warszawa Zachodnia → Łódź Fabryczna → Hotel Ambasador Premium

From Modlin Railway Station, take a train towards Warsaw and change at Warszawa Zachodnia for a train to Łódź Fabryczna.

By coach

Direct coach services from Warsaw Modlin Airport to Łódź may also be available. The airport currently lists coach connections operated by, among others, FlixBus and other carriers.

🚆 Getting to Hotel Ambasador Premium from Łódź Railway Stations

Łódź is served by several railway stations. The most useful stations for conference participants are Łódź Fabryczna, Łódź Kaliska, Łódź Widzew and Łódź Żabieniec.

Łódź Fabryczna

The most convenient railway station for Hotel Ambasador Premium.

The hotel is located approximately 1 km from Łódź Fabryczna.

• 🚶 Walking: approximately 10-15 minutes
• 🚕 Taxi: approximately 5 minutes
• 🚌 Public transport: several city connections are available

For most participants arriving by train from Warsaw or other major Polish cities, Łódź Fabryczna is the recommended station.

Łódź Kaliska

Łódź Kaliska is another major railway station and is particularly convenient for travellers arriving from western Poland.

• 🚕 Taxi to Hotel Ambasador Premium: approximately 10-15 minutes
• 🚌 Public transport: several bus and tram connections are available
• 🚶 Walking is possible but not recommended with luggage.

Łódź Airport is also connected directly with Łódź Kaliska by bus 65B.

Łódź Widzew

Łódź Widzew is an important station for trains arriving from the east and south-east of Poland.

• 🚕 Taxi to Hotel Ambasador Premium: approximately 10-15 minutes
• 🚌 Public transport: available via Łódź city transport
• 🚆 Łódź Widzew has frequent connections with Łódź Fabryczna. The Łódź Metropolitan Railway network connects Łódź Fabryczna, Łódź Widzew and Łódź Kaliska.

For passengers with luggage, a taxi directly from Łódź Widzew is the simplest option.

Łódź Żabieniec

Łódź Żabieniec is located in the northern part of the city and is served by regional trains.

• 🚕 Taxi to Hotel Ambasador Premium: approximately 15-20 minutes
• 🚌 Public transport: available, usually requiring a connection
• 🚆 Alternatively, passengers can continue by train to another central station and then take a taxi or public transport.

🚕 Taxis and ride-hailing services

Taxis are widely available in Łódź. Ride-hailing services such as Uber or Bolt are also commonly used.

For international participants, using a ride-hailing application can be a convenient way to travel between the airport, railway stations, hotel and conference-related events.
